Dimensions:125,5 x 69 cm. (49,40 x 27,16 inches).
Chromo-lithographed poster. The very-first color poster printed with the "HISTORIA" theme in 1892 and the first time used for advertising the "VI GREAT INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF FINE ARTS" in Glasspalast of Munich. Since then it remained the symbol of the exhibition for 26 years. The original oil on canvas, belongs to a private collection in Athens since 1996. The poster was printed in two parts, the top was printed with the chromo lithographed representation of the original painting and below, the other part, with the text, usually, in 3 languages, (French, German and Italian). This version is in French. Pasted on both sides with lining of Japan paper, conserved. [Very good condition, RARE].
